Singer Monica just got engaged to L.A. Lakers star Shannon Brown, after he passed her the rock - engagement ring style - over the weekend.
Looks like the boy is officially hers.
The couple met this summer when he played her love interest in the video for her song "Love All Over Me." The rest, as they say, is history.

The twosome's whirlwind romance was not unlike that of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, Brown's teammate, who tied the knot after a month of dating.
"We realize people will have their opinions," Monica Tweeted after breaking the news. "That's the way of the world. But we know who we are & who's we are."
Poignant ... and redundant.
Monica and longtime beau Rodney "Rocko" Hill broke off their engagment several months ago. They have two sons together: Rodeny, 5, and Romelo, nearly 2.
