It seems everything has gone downhill for R&B star Mario since he did Dancing With the Stars. The singer was arrested early Friday morning for allegedly beating his own mother, Shawntia Hardaway. The Baltimore Police Department has confirmed that it was indeed Mario who was arrested on Friday morning and booked on second-degree misdemeanor assault charges. A spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department says, "He allegedly shoved his mother against the wall, she hit her head, it looks like he then became verbally abusive. She feared for her safety, and police were contacted." Mario was released on $50,000 bail and will appear in court on November 9 on the issue. This may not be the first time he's been abusive toward his mother. He was also alleged to have shoved her on September 27. The singer dedicated his third album, Go, to his mother and even helped her kick a serious drug habit in an MTV documentary.
